Dr. Andryc grew up in Fairview, Pennsylvania. He obtained his degree in biology from Edinboro University, and then went on to obtain his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. While there, he served as his class president.

He has received awards for both his implantology and prosthodontic work.

He is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Erie County Dental Association.
